Device remove suggestions

i think nobody right now likes the way we have of removing devices, having to remove the device from every smartapp before removing it, it think this could be improved by having an option in smartapps to tell if the device is required for the smartapp to work properly or not, if the device isnt essential to any smartapp, it should be removed from every app automatically.

When removing mobile apps, it’s such a pain having to go through connect apps and smart apps removing the devices manually. Is there not a way to automatically remove from the list? removing devices manually from 10 different automations, is a royal pain!

Why is it so hard to remove a device?

I don’t know if this has been discussed before but it is incredibly frustrating to remove a device from every single smartapp before you can delete it. Has anyone found a faster way? I have 3 devices that stopped working and I’m trying to remove and add them back but first I have to go to every smart app and remove the device first. Some devices have 12 different apps that I have to remove it from. Then I’ll have to go back in and add it to all of those apps again. There must be a way to make it easier to delete a device without removing it from every app. Having the ability to transfer app assignments to the new device would also be really helpful.

Why is there not a remove from all smart apps option?

It just seems like something that would be insanely useful to have an option when removing a device that would remove the device from all smart apps in one button push. I can’t tell you how many times I have gone to remove something and had it be within Alexa, security monitor, and like 6 other smartapps that i have to dig through the settings and remove it from. I can’t be alone in this issue.
