As a final thing here checked the HIVE firmware and I am on the latest release, it looks like the Hive Thermostat is getting the some commands from the Hot water automation as I can see “receiving” on the Hive Thermostat however it looks like in the case of the hot water the HIVE thermostat is rejecting the commands and not changing to the always on setting. The settings for the Hot water are Schedule or Always on or Always off (and boost via the boost button). I was wondering if these we different from the modes available of the automation app, (Schedule, Boost, Turn Off and Manuel) in terms of signalling required to Hive.
See if you get the correct status of the Hive Hot Water device in the latest iOS ST app version 2.1.2 now that it is now appearing at the bottom of the main tile. If not, DM me and we will try and get this working for your account.
I tested the Hive Hot Water with the system last night and with the new app when you operate the off button it works, when you operate the schedule button it works, when you operate the “on” button you get a message Currently the system is on and idle but the state of the mode on the Hive remains the same, ie no change on the Hive.
Also the boost button does not do anything…
So its ON and Boost that are not working for some reason
