I’m wondering if my hub will actually be able to recieve the update. My hub always stays “online”, however, about an hour or two after I reboot the hub, it goes unresponsive (but still shows as online). Unable to ping via ST/advanced or control any devices. If I reboot it works great for another hour or so.
This behavior makes me wonder if it will miss all the attempted firmware update pushes.
Hi @Itati. The issue @dnadig describes sound similar to the offline/online issue that people are experiencing since 54.13. If so, the 54.14 hotfix does not fix the issue.
@Itati After the initial 54.14 update proved unsuccessful, I decided to canabalize a hub I had in my detached garage. I only had a few lights on that hub…far less critical than my main house hub that was giving me fits. I did the “swap hub” process in smart things. All swapped just fine. Still had the issue though. So this was clear proof that my hub was not the issue, rather there was some sort of compatability with my network/devices and the new firmware updates.
Because the garge hub that was canabalized was using a lot of the same zooz devices that my house had, I was able to confidently narrow any potential device compatability issues down to just a few possiblities…devices that the house had but garage didn’t. Of these, I did have a some that were plugged in via outlet, so would be super easy to unplug and take out of the picture. I may have found that my Aeotec Power/Electricity monitoring device may have been causing the issue. Ever since I unplugged that device, my hub seems to have not locked up in the past 24 hours. So, it seems as if the 54.13 (and .14) firmwares resulted in some sort of compatability with the aeotec power monitors.
Well, seems like I have a temp fix with my critical devices working for now.
