I have a pair of Nest thermostats at home, and of course a pile of z-wave devices with my smart hub and I was thinking of adding a temp sensor, just because. The Nest of course tells me the temp but ya know, you never can have too many temp readings. I did some searching, but what’s the current favorite temp sensor that fairly inexpensive yet accurate?
Have you tried the SmartThings multipurpose door&window sensor which is also supposed to be a temperature sensor? Do you know how to integrate it to work with the Keen SmartVent system so that the vents will be control by the temp sensor?
