Crib Light and mmWave Sensor to activate? Suggestions needed

I recently had a baby girl so I’ve been on a spree setting up automations to help with things like night changes and feedings so I bought safety 1st’s crib light that comes with its own pir motion sensor and I put it on the changing table part of our crib and it has an ambient light sensor so I set it up to turn on the light when it senses motion and it’s dark but of course the motion sensor sucks and the light sensor doesn’t work at all so I ordered a govee mmWave sensor without realizing that the device itself has no Alexa integration (should’ve done more research instead of assuming) so I can’t run the routine without an ifttt work around I then thought about getting an Aqara fp2 to run the Alexa routine but then I read that the Alexa integration is limited and things like light detection are not available on the Alexa. I’d rather use SmartThings because of better routine creation so I’m wanting to find a ST compatible light such as an under the cabinet light that I can stick to the crib and then a ST compatible mmWave sensor with ambient light detection. I like all the features of the fp2 but we still don’t have ST integration and Alexa doesn’t have the features I want to use as part of the integration. I’ve looked at multiple threads on this community for mmWave but they’re all pretty old so I was hoping someone would have a suggestion for the sensor and also the light.

I’ve had good luck with Zooz motion detectors but they’re PIR, not mmWave). Rather than hunting for a ST light, I’d probably just go with a smart plug controlling whatever light I wanted to use…

I can’t believe I didn’t think about that. But most lights like what I’m talking about have some type of control so I wouldn’t know if it would turn on and off from cycling the power or if the plug shut off it turn the light off so when the plug turns on the light might stay off until you press an on button
