I have connected my Gen3 Spruce sensor to my SmartThings hub. I would now like to start my RainMachine irrigation controller based on the value the Spruce sensor is reporting. I don’t see any out of the box SmartApp to do that.
Is there a custom handler?
If the rain machine valves can be controlled via ST, couldn’t you just use a simple automation? If humidity of the spruce is equal to or less than %, turn on. Something like that?
I tried that but couldn’t find a way within ST to surface the humidity reading in an IF clause.
Actually I just found the answer… Daisy humidity sensor smart app that I can use.

How does that integrate with ST and Rainmachine?

I don’t have the app anymore. I do believe it was the Daisy app that you mention. It didn’t work great…also, it did not integrate with ST or Alexa.
