I purchased 2x Chamberlain Garage Door Openor’s with MyQ Technology and I was curious if you have to purchase the Evolve Relay and Multi Sensor in order to control it. Or does the smartthings hub connect to it since it supports zigbee?
You need the Chamberlain or Liftmaster Internet gateway to control via the Chamberlain/Liftmaster app or web. Then you can use with SmartThings sort of. ST just uses your MyQ username and password to auth and make open close off on requests and status to/from the MyQ system. Search this forum to see the wealth of info on MyQ device type and smartapp.
