Capability windowShading

This one is related to this device that has been in R&D for a while:

There would be specific methods and attributes as it requires lux measurement and taking action
if illuminance is greater than a specific value.

Capabilities should granular and discrete.

Lux Measurement (sensor) is a different Capability than Shade Control (actuator).

It is a SmartApp that links the sensor to the actuator.

I assume that this is very similar to the Aeon Labs/Aeotec version here…

The Aeotec version is going to be ZWave compliant as well, so I would assume that it must have “standard” ZWave command sets and that capabilities could be taken from these in line with the ZWave structure.

I wish this stuff would make it to market soon! Cant wait to integrate something like this in my setup

Oh man, another thing to add to my list… looks like I will be in the attic again throwing wires for this stuff.

On the bright side it completely eliminates the needs for blind/curtain controls and I always thought they were pretty unwieldy and expensive. Wonder what the cost point of this is going to be. Seems like you can put one controller on multiple windows though.
