Can Smartthings initiate an event/app on Alexa

I’m a Smartthings novice and I have a quick question. Is it possible for Smartthings to initiate an event/app on Amazon Echo/Alexa?

The scenario I’m trying to solve is that my partner hates to walk into a quiet house so when Smartthings detects her arrival at home via presence of her SmartPhone I would like Alexa to play Radio 4 as if she has said “Alexa Play Radio 4”

Not really. You could put a Sonos or other DLNA speaker near it and have the speaker speak to Alexa
