I have a Caddx NX-8v2 panel with several wired zones and many wireless window sensors. I’m interested in using a Ring alarm base station for their monitoring and integration of multiple Ring cameras outside the house.
Ring has an adapter for wirelessly interfacing wired zones from the control panel to the Ring base station. So that will solve hook-up of my wired zones.
Now, what I need is a clever way to integrate all of my existing wireless window sensors from the panel to the Ring base. If there is no way to do that, then I’ll have to replace all of them (9 total) with Ring’s wireless sensors.
Please advise, and thanks in advance for the help!
Welcome! Sounds like an interesting project.
This forum is specifically for people who are using the Samsung smartthings ™ Home Automation platform. So all of the questions and answers are assumed to be in that context.
The individual battery powered ring sensors can be used individually with a SmartThings hub, and there is a cloud cloud integration for the ring cameras, so that’s probably why Google brought you here.
Unfortunately, the ring base station’s monitoring options cannot be used with the SmartThings platform, so I’m afraid we aren’t likely to be able to help you very much here unless there just just happens to be a community member who also has that system.
Instead, why don’t you try the Reddit Ring subforum? Hopefully someone there will be able to help.

Good luck!
JD - thank you for that guidance. I will put my post on the Reddit forum that you suggested.
