I’m doing a test/review on a LIFX bulb dimming on it’s own, on ST, and then on an actual dimmer switch. I want to see if there are any differences in lux values. There might not be which is good to know too. I’m looking for someone who’s interested in collaborating with me. Preferably someone who knows how dimmer switches are supposed to work. I know diddly squat.
Smart bulbs don’t work on dimmer switches.
The LIFX integration sends a dimming value as a percentage to LIFX’s servers. I’d expect the dimming values to be the same between the LIFX app and the SmartThings LIFX integration.
