Blink Camera IFTTT

Can someone help me setup an IFTTT connection with my Blink Camera System. I’ve successfully setup a virtual switch that id like to control using my routines. I’ve linked the IFTTT.com with my Smartthings account and my Blink account. Just not sure how to connect the IFTTT and the virtual switch.

If you already linked your IFTTT account to ST and authorized the virtual switch, and already linked IFTTT to blink, then all that’s left is to create an IFTTT applet.

If virtual switch in SmartThings turns on, then arm blink system. Or whatever you’re trying to do with that virtual switch.

The ST support article for IFTTT explains all of it pretty clearly:

I was one of the first people on this thread in uproar when this was announced - mainly because I had just received a pair of Blink XT’s for Christmas. However, I’m happy to say that through a mixture of Virtual Switches, IFTTT and WebCore - I’m pretty pleased with things as they stand. Could it be better? Of course it could. The biggest issue I’ve got is actually of Blink’s own making and that’s the IFTTT applet not firing until AFTER the motion has taken place. Everything else works just fine for my needs. For example, similar to @Gutheinz, I have created 2 Device Type Handlers. The first one is based off a simple push button handler and this allows me to arm / disarm the Blink system. The second one is based off a momentary button and turns on / off when motion is detected via each cam…
