Authorize New Devices with Echo

This may have a simple solution, but I haven’t been able to find it yet. Does anyone know of a way to authorize new smartthings devices in the Alexa app without disabling and re-enabling the smartthings skill? I just got my hub and am adding several new switches as I think of them. Right now, though, Alexa’s discovery doesn’t discover my new switches until I disable the app, re-enable it, and authorize all my switches again. I can see this being a pain once I have more switches. Any help is appreciated.

You can also do it from the smartthings side, which may be easier for you.

NEW: Alexa IFTTT Triggers As of November 12, 2015, there are now two official ways to integrate Alexa and SmartThings. You missed the step of adding the new switches to “Amazon Echo smartapp” in SmartThings. You can do that through the SmartThings phone app.
