August Lock WiFi/Cloud integration (not Zigbee)?

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it’s possible to integrate an August Smart Lock Pro (with the WiFi connect bridge) to ST without using the Zigbee link? Either directly over the network or cloud-to-cloud somehow?

I have one of these locks on my detached garage where there is WiFi but no Zigbee mesh coverage. IFTTT isn’t good enough here because I want to be able to control the lock/unlock state from ST. IFTTT only works for status and not for control.

The integration is expected by January 2020… but no exact date.
