Trying to see if anyone has used this sensor. It says also its matter. Cant find too much info on this. Thanks.
Turns out it does not support Air Quality yet, according to its website:
Air Quality will become avialable via an Over the Air Software Update with Matter 1.2. Air Quality will be reported based on Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs). Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) are a group of chemicals commonly found in many household and industrial products. From paints and cleaners to office equipment, these compounds can be released into the air, impacting indoor and outdoor air quality.
The certificate at CSA site is for Matter 1.0.
Also, while it’s indeed a certified SmartThings product, the profile is temperature-humidity-battery so that’s what you can expect, temperature, humidity and battery life. Even if that firmware update was already available, you would not be able to use the air quality in SmartThings.
