Don’t see much discussion about arlo camera. Is this a sign that it won’t work well in SmartThings? Can anyone share your experience?
Oh no, related topics are very old, at least 3/4 years ago. Well, i might need to reconsider getting a arlo device.
Go to section Camera to see supported cameras. Or in the SmartThings App, Menu, Supported devices, categories, Sensors & Security, Camera/Doorbell.
I can’t recommend Arlo or any other manufacturer that requires a subscription.
I use Aqara G4 Doorbell and Tapo C125 and C225 cameras.

But the fact is, most brands provide useful features through pay services.
And the brands I have recommended record locally to storage or free cloud, without a subscription.
Which brands are those? I do not think there’s many of those left. (Local or free cloud storage. )
