North America?
Wrong profile ID, missing powerConsumptionReport and powerMeter capabilities.
My guess: outdated driver.
Not outdated, fingerprints aren’t added yet. I thought they were added last week in production.
Here’s the invitation for the Matter driver with the added fingerprints:

Make sure to revert back to the production driver next week.
“Cool! Thanks for the link! The driver works!”
People nowadays…
Ah, not in prod would explain it. Installed the driver from the PR you linked above. Wasn’t able to switch the device to use it, so ended up deleting the devices from SmartThings. Now can’t get it to re-add
Will keep tinkering with it.
Click one of the upper buttons twice and then hold it for five seconds to reset it.
I have done it multiple times with Thread and Zigbee.
Are these the only matter over thread EU light switches? If I get a ST Hub V4 I will be dumping Zwave switches so wondering about replacements?
Eve Systems, but they are more expensive.
Eve Systems
Correct me if I am wrong, they are only thread and homekit but not matter?
Correct me if I am wrong
Yep, you are wrong.
Yep, you are wrong.
To be fair, the eve website doesn’t show the light switch in its matter compatible products page for eu

Matter is here – and the first Eve devices are ready to be used with the new standard for smart home devices!
Further, there is mention elsewhere on the site of thread switch devices being upgradeable to matter but it states USA only.
And their matter upgrade page only shows the upgrade available for the USA version. So if it’s available for the eu switch it’s currently not easy to find on their website.
It was the perfect chance to set him straight. ![]()
Joking aside, the Aqara H2 beats the Eve in terms of value for money. Plus, you hear about issues with the Eve switch much more often.
There is also the Inovelli project for an eu thread matter switch.

This is a little different than our traditional project sequence in that we don’t have a concept built out yet (we have ideas, but we’ll build this together since I’m not at all familiar with the EU market). I look forward to working with everyone...

The most interesting part:
Easy Config: switch should be able to be configured via the config/favorites button. There should be infinite customization via parameters in the firmware, but also set customizations for HUB’s that do not allow parameter changes (ie: HomeKit, Google Home, Philips, etc)
There’s currently no way to configure the Aqara H2 switch when it’s running on Matter firmware. For example, you can’t enable decoupled mode, which allows you to use the upper buttons as controllers without activating the relays.
It would be so easy to implement a button combo for configuration in the firmware.
I’ve looked in on this from time to time. I’ve never seen dimensions quoted, especially in wall depth which is critical for my old house.

Spacers are your friend.

Spacers are your friend.
Yeah, I know. However in my kitchen I’d be looking at the switch side on when entering room. Dunno I’d cope with a spacer, especially one that didn’t match the profile of the switch itself.

And hopefully a human presence sensor switches the light on and off.
