Done a bit of searching but not found anything specific.
I am wondering if it would be possible to create a driver or add functionality to give the ability to announce the time and maybe, optionally, the date?
The intention is to have a motion/button trigger announce the time on a connected speaker… Any ideas - or eager driver writing volunteers 
I imagine it depends on what type of connected speaker. If an Echo device, a virtual switch and an Alexa Routine should do it.
I was thinking a dumb speaker (such as Sonos) with the driver/virtual device triggered from a routine effectively substituting text for current time in an ST notification call…
Just checked my Aeotec hub and it doesn’t have a built-in sound chip.
