Does anyone using Alexa know if they still require permissions for every device in ST? I would like to use it for a few specific things, but not open up all of my data to the likes of Amazon. If not, I think I may try to use IFTTT as a man in the middle, connecting ST<–>IFTTT<–>Alexa since IFTTT handles permissions with individual devices.
It does not. In fact quite literally the moment a device is added in ST it is recognized in Alexa.
I would guess IFTTT will also be moving to the newer type as well.
