Aeotec Smarthings Hub Out Of Stock

My exsisting Aeotec Hub died last month and in opening a ticket with Aeotec their support said “sorry, we cant help”. Which i guess makes sense since I was out of warranty but they offered no other advice which was odd. I then thought I would just go buy a replacement but its sold out online everywhere including Aeotec. Has anyone had a similar experience? Amazon, Walmart, Bestbuy.

I don’t know if its an outcome of the tariff clownshow or is something else coming ?

It sucks because I didnt want to moe away from Smartthings but this just forces me onto HA and Google Home even more.

Sure, technically you arent wrong because yes you can buy them via Ebay or some other small reseller.

How does that address the fact that:

Aeotec , Amazon, WalMart , any other big sender is now out of stock of them?

aeotec is the first link I posted. smartmatters.co is part of their company.

Amazon stock comes and goes every few months. Check back in a few weeks and I am certain they will be back in stock. There was basically the same post on St hubs being out of stock in February I believe and they restocked soon after.

I have never seen it stocked at Walmart - usually 3rd party sellers when it is.

Best Buy stocked the Station but they cleared those out a few months ago.

The eBay listing I posted is from z-Wave Products… they are well known.

also available on their website

ignore the $99.99 price - that is the used version showing

Meanwhile in Europe:

UK Version

Like I said, technically you aren’t wrong but that doesn’t change the things I list below either.

  1. Aeotec.com
  1. Amazon.com .
  1. Walmart
  1. Go to your search engine of choice and type in Aeotec Hub then tell me what places show it? You wont see any major resellers currently, you will only see small places or ebay.

  2. From the where to buy section on the Aeotec site anything they listed for North America currently has it unavailable.

Not that there is anythign wrong with that but the fact that they all hit at once could be an indication of something.

Probably a recall to update the SSL certificate:

Good job on edfiting the title to say NOT. Let me fix that for you.

How can this be that when I ordered from one of the sites listed whille it shows in stock this is the message I got, " As stated on the product page, we expect our shipment of: GP-AEOHUBV3US by approximately Late May/Early June 2025. Please note that this is only an estimate directly from Aeotec and could be subject to change due to current supply chain delays."

List of places currently OOS of Aeotec hub even though they are totally NOT out of stock.

  1. Aeotec
  2. Amazon
  3. Best Buy
  4. Walmart
  5. The first 2 small resellers listed

“Everywhere = US”

Go ahead and order it lemme know how that goes.

I say that because small resellers also listed it as in stock , gave delivery estimates yet after ordering they all said it was out of stock.

Could get one from there by tomorrow.

If I’d order from Amazon, I’d have to wait until Friday.

This is in Germany, though…

What is the URL of the first foreign site you linked?

Still, I am sure you ordered one from the sites you listed..Just like I did from one of the resellers originally given because that reseller showed it in stock and said I could have it within 3-5 business days. After I paid they sent me the quote I posted above.

Still good on you, I am not sure why you wont just say “yah lots of places are out of stock, could be a problem or could not.” WHich is pretty much what I said.

Im not interested in wasting more cycles over something that is pretty one sided right now. So I made the thread title more neutral, hopefully that works for you.
