I have two of these smart plugs which work fine in the samsung classic app, but not on the new smartthings app, on this it is always showing as “checking status” and when selected advises it cannot communicate.
Has anyone has any luck connecting and controlling these on the new app?
Are you using a default smartthings device handler or a community built one?
default, I have tried changing it over to the zwave switch but this made no difference.
yeah, even some of the default device types don’t work in the new app and then changing the device type to one that doesn’t work doesn’t seem to refresh the device unless you sign all the way out of the app. Sucks.
