They have so much on their plate I’d be pleasantly surprised if they were able to deliver within the prospected time-frame.
They’re currently working on the Zooz Power Switch and Outdoor motion sensor, so may not be too far in the future.
The full product line has been submitted for integration and the SmartThings team seems to be committed to adding everything as soon as possible so we’re feeling good about this so far.
I am having trouble automating my ZEN25 Have the Double Plug set to come on at a certain time yet it never happens. Furthermore looking at live logging tonight I found this:

Not sure about the automation, but it is possible the flood of events is preventing the switch from receiving or handling the on command.
You should Contact zooz/@TheSmartestHouse support. I was seeing the same repeated usb events. The Smartest House support (mailto:info@thesmartesthouse.com) said that they had never seen this issue before, and have asked me to send the unit in to them to investigate.
Do you have anything connected to the usb port when the usb events are happening?
There is a Samsung qi charging pad plugged into the USB however, nothing was charging at the time.
Hi Martin, when you say that nothing was charging, do you mean that nothing was plugged in to the port or that the pad was fully charged? Sometimes a connected device will charge (turn the port off), and then start charging again right away after it depletes some of the power (turns the port on), and so when it’s almost charge, it will create this type of report loop. That’s why it’s recommended in the documentation to turn the charging device off.
We should also have a firmware update that will allow you to disable reports and minimize auto reports significantly so you can mention it when you’re troubleshooting with Zooz support.
The qi charging pad is one that you can just set a compatible phone on and it wirelessly charges. There was nothing on the pad.
I did unplug the pad and all reports for the USB ceased.
Hi Martin, thanks for clarifying! The pad itself probably uses a minimum amount of power which was causing the USB port to report the changes. The way it works is that it measures current of connected devices, if current is detected, it reports on, if it’s not detected, it reports off. That’s why to get reliable reports it’s best to use the port as a charger directly with charging devices turned off.
I agree that the 3 reports per second was killing your z-wave network which is most likely why it was unable to control the switch.
I know I’m late on this, but I just purchased a SmartThings hub and spent yesterday migrating about 45 devices from my crappy Zipato. I’m having some issues with the Zooz plugs (I have 6 of them currently). I can add the plug and 3 devices appear. Device 1 controls both outlets, device 2 controls the left outlet and device 3 controls the right outlet.
However, if I rename either the left or right outlet device, the device stops working and I receive a “Network or server error occurred. Try again later” message when trying to open the device within the application. I can rename the device that controls both outlets without issue.
It works just fine if I don’t rename it, but the problem is then I have a pile of outlets that I can’t differentiate since they have the same name.
I’m also seeing these things filling up the log file every few seconds with lastCheckin messages. There are hundreds of them. Is that normal?
Are you doing it within the new app? Sometimes it’s finicky about stuff.
Try changing the name via the IDE and then restarting the app. See if it sticks then.

Just Google Samsung IDE. It’ll take you straight to a login. Use your smartthings account.
Then you’re going to want to click locations. Click your home. Click your hub. Then go to devices. You’ll see your list. Click one of the Zooz. Scroll down to edit. Rename. Update.

It looks like when the name is changed during the setup using the new app, it screws up the parameters. For some reason it sets Type to Placeholder. I changed it to “Zooz double plug outlet” and the name sticks.
My problem now is that it doesn’t seem to be updating its status with the hub when turning it on and off. If I kill the app and re-open it, the app displays the correct outlet status.
You can see here, that opening the outlet shows that it is “ON”, which it is. But if I’m on the main screen it shows as “Off”. Also, if I open the outlet and change the state, the little circle just spins and spins and then I get a “network or server error occurred, try again later” message.
The device does change state when that happens.
Further investigation shows that when using the classic app, the device state is updated and no error is shown. However, when I try and control either outlet individually with the new app, the device changes state, but never appears to update the app which causes the “network or server error occurred, try again later" error message.
I have to kill the app and re-open it for it to show the correct state.
Keep in mind that if I use the device that turns on both outlets, as opposed to trying to control them individually, the app updates the status and there is no error message.
Does anyone else have any of these outlets? I have 7 and they are all doing the same thing.
While your troubles may not be due to the DTH, I do believe that there are issues with it, or maybe issues with what the firmware passes on to the DTH as values.
Below is an example… notice the values. 628kWh in 5 days? A high of 2.8kW and more interestingly a low of negative 2.8kW? Yeah… something is off. I have several of these double outlets and they all have the same issues. BTW, outlet 1 runs a white noise machine that draws about 30W and outlet2 nothing during the summer (humidifier in the winter)
I was working with Zooz support who is able to replicate my issue and is working on a fix.
Their support is pretty awesome and was helping me over a holiday weekend. I never dreamed I’d get a response before today.
Just an update from Zooz for anyone else having this issue. Zooz indicated that this is an issue with the way SmartThings is currently handling multi-channel devices. They indicated that multi-channel devices are supposed to be integrated this month which should resolve the issue.
