Zipato Micro motorcontroller

Just bought a zipato Micro mototorcontroller which I Will use for my window blinds. It showed up in ST as a metered switch. I use Amazon Alexa to control the blinds. It is awkward to say turn on window or turn off window. Does anybody know if there is a better device handler for this?

Maybe something EchoSistant can help with?

As a matter of fact… I do believe it’s already in there

There’s also this bad boy which can convert a switch to respond like a garage door (open / close), but if memory serves I don’t think native Alexa integration allows garage door control for security reasons :frowning:

Maybe worth a try though?

Using native integration only allows you to say turn on/turn off a switch. If you want something more natural, you need to use a custom skill. I totally recommend EchoSistant, just because I wrote the code to open blinds for @JDogg016

Thank you. I Will check out your suggestions.
