Zigbee issue - Conflict with HomePod mini

After A LOT of troubleshooting, I determined that every time I plug in my HomePod mini, all my SmartThings Zigbee devices lose connectivity.

Overall topology:

ubiquity unifi gateway, switch, and WiFi hotspots (total of three, using channels 1/6)

SmartThings hub v4 (recent), still running SmartThings hub v2 for a legacy Zwave device.

Several zigbee smart plugs and lights.

None of my devices are in physical proximity to each other.

It looks like my v4/v2 hubs are using Zigbee channel 24. From what I’ve read, Apple devices use channel 25, but within ten minutes of plugging in the HomePod mini, I lose all Zigbee connectivity (although the devices show online, I get errors when I attempt to control them). Things have been stable over a week with the HomePod unplugged.

I recently added the HomePod mini to connect my Schlage Encode Plus without using WiFi, in order to maximize battery life and leverage Apple wallet across multiple users to unlock the door. I naively thought thread was a universal standard so bought the v4 hub first, then realized it wouldn’t work for HomeKit thread devices.

From what I understand, I can’t control the channel of the Apple device. Thoughts on changing the Zigbee channel on the SmartThings hubs? Which channel should I pick?

I have a Homepod mini and Zigbee Channel 20 on my ST V3 Hub, all work fine.

My main hub is SmartThings V2 using Zigbee channel 14.
My other hub (no devices yet) is SmartThings V3 using channel 25.
I have not modified either setting.
It seems like you should not have multiple hubs on the same channel.
I have an Amazon Echo V4 (big ball) but am not using its Zigbee functionality (not sure if Zigbee radio is active).
I have a 2024 Samsung OLED TV but have not enabled it’s SmartThings hub.

Are your SmartThings hubs going offline as well?
