@blueyetisoftware will this 1 sec time bucket remain for ever? Wouldn’t it be smarter to push activity instead of polling every 1 sec?
The driver isn’t doing and polling. Events are pushed from Hue to the driver. Hue has a 1 sec bucketing algorithm that they use on their end to deliver the push events in batches. If your event occurs at the end of that batch, it will appear near instant. If it occurs at the beginning, Hue may hold it for up to a second before delivering it.
