Why is Samsung Smartthings button not showing in Alexa?

I tried to discover the Samsung Smartthings Button in Amazon Alexa but it’s not found. The SmartThings app is able to find the button though; however, Alexa app is not. Any suggestion?

FAQ: Samsung SmartThings Button Works but Wont be Discovered by Alexa

I have a SmartThings Hub v2 and a number of Zwave devices that work fine. I also have Amazon Echo/etc and added the SmartThings skill, which enables voice control of my SmartThings devices. I recently added a Samsung SmartThings Button (Zigbee) and it also works fine. However, I cannot figure out how to get the Amazon Echo to discover the Button. It doesnt seem to have a category within the Alexa App, and when I ask the app to “discover devices” it doesnt find any. Do I need to put the Button in some sort of “discover” mode, or am I simply missing something?
