I won’t be converting the Aeon Labs Aeotec Doorbell DTH into an Edge Driver so it will stop working once the Groovy platform is retired, but it might not need a custom driver. You can use audio files that you load into it.

Is that a good “doorbell” as well? Or do you have to use it as one or the other?

You can use it as both.

It has a remote button you can use for the doorbell.

It can be loaded with a ton of different audio clips for different things; triggering when someone comes home, when a door is opened, when the washing machine is done, etc.
