We all have our must have favorite apps that extend what ST can do.
For me the two must have apps are CoRE, Simple Device Viewer, Super Notifier and Ask Alexa
Notable mention: Echosistent (but I don’t have tts speakera to use this app).

Thanks for the mention, but you don’t need connected speakers to enjoy a more natural way of talking to Alexa…
Here is the newly release of EchoSistant Weather 2.0, which gives Alexa specialized weather knowledge not available to non-EchoSistant users.
If you like in depth weather updates as much as I do, then EchoSistant can serve you up the right amount of details when you need it.
No longer need to listen to the current weather conditions when you ask Alexa what temperature is outside. – Just ask Hone what temperature is outside.
No longer need to listen how the weather is today, if you only want to know what the weather would be tomorrow. – Just ask Home how’s the weather tomorrow.
No longer need to listen to lengthy weather forecast if you only want to know what chances of rain are today or tomorrow or even in the next hour. And yes, EchoSistant can provide hourly weather updates via Alexa when prompted or via a remote speaker when scheduled via Notifications Add-on
If you want to get specific weather information from Alexa, al…

Yes, a beacon is basically a presence sensor that turns to “present” when you are close (a couple of feet) to it.
You may consider Echo: Notifications for all those Sonos Tts. I have at least 20 of those nicely tucked under EchoSistant. The Notification Add-on is the Notify me with Sound on steroids!

Some of them are @ule 's Media Remder Events app that use external tts. This app has the same logo. I am still planning to get other voices to work when I have some time (e.g. male with British accent)

Trend Setter - A SmartApp for grouping devices

I am not usually one for releasing stuff I write because I am my own worst critic and usually self destruct before putting anything out into the general public (I’ve revised this post more times than I’d like to count). I am trying to change that behaviour…
Although I am a software engineer by trade, I am not a Java/Groovy developer so I may not have written some of the code in the most efficient way. I expect this to change from feedback and as my knowledge grows.
I tend to find I use the app to control a lot of things more than anything else so this is useful for that. I have only used this on an Android phone and can’t be sure how it’ll behave on an iOS device due to the parity issues between Android and iOS apps so give no g…
TL;DR: I’ve created a DTH that allows you to talk to your Chromecasts
/ Google Homes. It’s ready for testing if you’re familiar with using
the SmartThings IDE / Github integration and can deal with the
(inevitable) bugs that will show up. There’s only very basic
documentation (this post) at this point.
Components
The Chromecast integration consists of three components:

the DTH and passing them on to your Chromecast / Google home.
The cloud intermediary
While the rest of the code here is relatively standard, using a cloud
intermediary adds complexity. In particular, it comes with two issues:
You need create an app running in the cloud.
That cloud ap…
