I have many casement windows that I use sensors to verify open status. I lost two sensors to a rain storm the other day because I didn’t close the windows fast enough.

I did a search on here and found nothing since 2017 regarding waterproof sensors. Is there anything new? I saw the strip sensors, but $65 each is a bit steep to replace my $15 Viewsonic sensors. Is there anything else out there?

The Sensative strip sensors are still the best in this category.

You can get a pack of three for $120, which is $40 apiece.

Still expensive, but definitely weatherproof. And since they come with a 10 year battery, you probably save a bit on replacement batteries as well.
