Virtual thermostats not changing state

Hello everyone,

I was using virtual thermostats for 2 years already without any issues. I was using multiple routines based on thermostat state. Today I noticed that thermostat doesn’t change state anymore and my floor heating is not working. Maybe you know what could be the reason? Temperature reading rule from my Aeotec sensor works perfectly fine. Even when I create a new virtual thermostat - it also doesn’t change the state. I’m using virtual devices from Mariano thermostat

Hi,

The driver hasn’t changed in over a month, and it’s working fine for me.

If your hub has recently updated its firmware, try restarting it from the web interface or by unplugging it.

Thank you Mariano for such fast response  I tried to unplug Hub from power supply, also I tried to reboot it in smartthings advanced users webpage, but with no results… still have the same issue… maybe you have any other ideas?

From what I can see in the screenshots, you’re not using a virtual thermostat from the Mc drivers, so I don’t know what might be happening.

I was sure I’m using your driver… sorry… now I changed driver of my aeotec sensor to MC driver and created virtual thermostat, it works very well and even better than previous, with more options and settings. Thank you very much!

I had the same problem. When using @TAustin virtual thermostat under settings make sure you “Enable" the “Mode Automation”

It wasn’t mode automation issue. I tried to turn off, turn on, also when created new thermostat tried to turn on, off, but with no result… it worked fine for 2 years. Now I switched to Mariano driver and I like it even more, works perfectly

I’ve also recently had the firmware update and I just tried to setup a new virtual thermostat, And I’m getting a network error and it cannot create a new one
