Ah - apologies then. I was assuming presence detection was running on the phone, like it normally does with ST. Sounds like you’ll be safe from me, then!

@desertblade, just a quick update on the discussion around android devices and wifi, i have just picked up a new mobile, the Galaxy S7 Edge and this works fine also with the default configuration, but it is set to keep wifi connected when asleep by default so this continues to work fine for me.
i still get a good 2 days worth of use for what i use it for. otherwise if you use it form more than mail, occasional web access and music then maybe would be more like one day. but since i have a wireless charging pad in most rooms where i dump my wallet, keys and phone i usually just pop it down and it keeps it topped up. but when my kids use it for games it pretty much rapes my battery of power.
