Under-cabinet Lighting - Replacing with Intelligent, color LED

I built my home about 1.5 years ago and something I did was have under-cabinet lighting installed in the kitchen. The current setup is xenon bulbs 3-4 per cabinet and everything is wired to a switch by the sink. I’m mulling around in my head what it would take to replace those lightboxes with LED lighting that could change color and I could control from SmartThings (either on it’s own or via the switch or a combo of the two).

I figure the hard part of having existing electrical all wired up is done. Just not really sure where to go from there.

Here’s a couple projects I bookmarked that are like what your asking.

I’m sure there is others with even more examples and ideas.

Sounds like an exciting project! You might take a look at the quick browse lists in the community – created wiki in the project report section for the kitchen list and the lighting list. Both of those should have a number of examples, including the ones that @TN_Oldman suggested. :sunglasses:
