Turn lights on Yale lock only when entering code (entering from outside)?

It is certainly possible to trigger specific automation when specific user codes are entered. But you would need advanced custom code to do this.

And if you have a model lock that has a key option, it might not trigger on the key being used.

@RBoy has created a library of advanced code behind a pay wall. You pay one fee and you get access to all of the code there. It has been very popular among those who are willing to pay additional fees.

I know he has some code that can do this if you’re interested in looking at that option.

Otherwise you would need to search the forums for other code that does something similar, but a lot of it is not being kept up-to-date these days while people wait to see what the new platform is going to look like. One of the advantages of rboy’s library is that he has kept it up-to-date for the new platform. But you can certainly search and see what you can find.

Depending on the model lock, you can also probably do this with Webcore. :sunglasses:
