Temp sensor for freezer

If you really want to get low temps consistently, i’d recommend a Fibaro 857934005188 Modern Door/Window Sensor with DS18B20. It has a wide testing temperature range of -55 °c /-65°f ~ +125 °c /+250°f. and can be setup so the temp sensor is the only part in the freezer while the Fibaro sits outside.

I use the Lowes Iris window/door sensors in my freezers and they work very well.
