The Arlo security camera system by Netgear is awesome. Totally wireless with internal batteries and place anywhere small, discrete cameras. If these could we connected to SmartThings that would be great. Check out Arlo.

It would be great for SmartThings to work with the Dyson App for their products. The latest being air purification and cooling fan.

With my constant disappointment at the “coming Soon” after Evohome, are there any plans for smartthings to support:

Aeon Labs Smart Film?

It’s been coming soon for four years. If it’s zwave, it will probably work with the default dimmer device if/when it eventually ships.

Agree this is excellent.

Thank you for the info Cody,

I have further investigated the smart films, and it would appear that they are either on or off. So my thoughts are, a smart power outlet, triggered by a motion sensor. I would have no need for dimming, as the film would be fitted to the dressing room, where total privacy from the outside world would be required.

Like someone said a while back, I’d love to see Pentair ScreenLogic to control my spa.

Someone at Micasaverde did it

Cooper RFWC5 Button controllers are so integral to home automation

Hey Everyone!!!

I have a couple Flir FX cameras, and they are awesome. BUT- there is no integration with ST or IFTTT, etc.

Well, I reached out to Flir via Facebook, and they are listening…now is our chance to prove demand

Can any of you help fill the Facebook thread with requests?? They are looking for examples of things we would do if we had IFTTT or ST integration.

I can also compile feedback received withing this forum and submit it on our behalf.

Who knows, with enough demand- they may put integration back on their roadmap!

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Flir FX cams, they are similar to Nest cams, BUT - they have temperature sensor, Humidity sensor, a backup battery that lasts ±4hours and an SD card for local storage when wifi drops…and of course, motion sensing…powerful, but currently in their own little app silo without having any integration to the IoT

here is a link to the thread if we want to flood it with comments: Link to Facebook Conversation

Hope we can get it going!

Is there even browser support for this? Taking a quick look, it appears that the camera is only accessible via a mobile app and their cloud (limited free, pay for the rest).

There is browser support, I can see a grid of all my cams on one page as we speak  Thumbs up for you!

Yeah but you are on their web site…can you connect directly to the cameras on your local network is the question. If not I doubt they will be added.

Speaking of please add support for more cameras, especially cheaper ones like Foscam.

And also EXPAND the functions of the couple you do support. I have a D-Link camera and I can’t change almost anything on it. Like the Auto IR was turned off so when it was dark I got a black screen. I had to use another app, Tiny Cam Pro, to change the IR setting to auto and then it worked in Smart Things. Not sure why Smart Things cant change the settings.

Which camera do you have? I have released a DTH for the DCS-5222L which may also work for the DCS-5029L…

DCS-2332L. Cheapest camera I could find that “officially” worked with smartthings that I could use streaming for. The problem is performance isn’t great…when we are in the house we use Tiny Cam Pro as its WAY better interface but use SmartThings when away.

Try using this devicetype, it looks like they might accept the same commands:

I have to agree. There’s a bunch of relays from them http://qubino.com/products/

Anynews on lightwavelf products as they have nice looking plugs and switches

is LeakSmart Rough Brass Quarter-Turn Straight Valve from Lowe’s compatible with SmartThings?
