[ST Edge] Zigbee Driver for MOES 4-Button Scene Switch (TS004F) Plus Some Smart Knob Models

@zambobmaz can you please add to your driver:
model : TS0046
manufacturer : _TZ3000_nrfkrgf4

Updated and Applied (2025-05-29T10:03:28.243985123)

Thank You so much, works perfectly. Will eventually report on battery life.

It’s now December and both 6 button switches show a battery level of 100%. They both work very well so far. _TZ3000 _nrfkrgf4 TS0046. Nothing being perfect, the casing for those switches is not very impressive. There was a mechanical interaction between buttons. That got fixed by filing the area between buttons just a little bit. The buttons come off by simply pulling them out. There is only one LED for all six buttons so drilling a little hole (while the button is removed from the switch of course) in front of the blue LED makes it much more visible.

With all three _TZ3000_wkai4ga5 TS0044 that I was using in the past, batteries had to be replaced at an alarming rate…

i have a moes 4 button zigbee remote thats working great using the button-battery-v1.4.4 driver each button has press double press and hold it no longer allows me to add actions to the double press / hold functions (see picture)

when i press one to change it i get

any help would be great .

thanks

martin

Did you tried to use routines ? Is routines allow you to trigger from the Zigbee remote ?

hi yes i can create rutines but should be able to do it there.

thanks

regarding the battery drain, i have 6 of these MOES 4 button switch, i realised that its always the same 3 switch that keeps draining battery, i have to change batteries every week or so. Could it be the version of the MOES switch draining battery?

Hello @erickv, could you please add this other variant to your driver?

Manufacturer: _TZ3000_j70oanab
Model: TS0044
Profile: 4-button-battery

Thanks in advance

Try to open an issue in @zambobmaz GitHub and he will add to his driver:

Hello, @junkai21

Apparently, this “issue” comes with certain devices. So far, I’ve been able to identify the following behavior

  1. DIMMER mode is not supported (i.e. Zigbee Groups)
  2. On SCENE mode, every press is now working accurately, where before there was a 3-second lag between each press.
  3. Battery drains faster even with the lower-as-possible health check rate.

Or at least that has been my experience as well

@dotan_shai Thanks for mentioning me. I updated and applied (2025-09-10T11:47:17.526317992)

I am trying to use a MOES IP55 Smart Button with @erickv drivers, version 1.4.5, but it’s not working. Help?

This is a single button that is exterior-rated that has a lot of generic versions.

I got the device paired and it exposes one or more buttons in the driver. It reports battery at 100%, but when I press or hold the button, nothing happens at all.

Model info is: TS004F, Manufacturer (Code) is _TZ3000_kjfzuycl.

Try zambobmaz driver

Fingerprint:

  • id: _TZ3000_kjfzuycl/TS004F
    deviceLabel: Tuya 1 Button
    manufacturer: _TZ3000_kjfzuycl
    model: TS004F
    deviceProfileName: zigbee-tuya-button-1

Yes, I tried that one first, and it doesn’t work. No events are being recognized. I changed drivers around and tried that driver again, but same result: no events.

Hello @SeanTek

Thanks for reaching out with this request.

I reviewed the current fingerprint and did some digging about it and I found this:

  1. It expects a 2-button device.
  2. It was originally integrated for the device mentioned in this post: [ST Edge] Zigbee Driver for MOES 4-Button Scene Switch (TS004F) Plus Some Smart Knob Models - #164 by sulisenator

So, probably when I added such fingerprint I missed on the profile on the device which should have been a single button device, am I right?

Please confirm this information so I can update the fingerprint and give it a try.

That is possible.

Here is the product:

I’ll push an update on the button-battery-v1.4.5 to update the profile.

Please, let me know if it changes anything (fingers crossed), so I can keep looking if it doesn’t.

Okay, please post when the update is pushed and I will try to refresh/test about 6 hours afterwards.

The latest update in v1.4.5 is live, so keep me posted.

I used it last night, but it didn’t help.

The driver version is 2025-12-17T19:01:30.96202737.

The button reports some features (including dimmer features, don’t know why) but when I press the button, nothing happens. The green LED indicator underneath the backside of the button blinks on press so mechanically the button should be working.
