I’ve try’d zigbee tuya button driver from @zambobmaz channel, but it only supports click, double click and long press. Don’t support the rotate left/right actions.
Also, it appears like a 4 button device but only button 1 works, of course.
I suggest that you send CLI logs to @zambobmaz in his Github.
While logging make some rotations CW and CCW and clicks so will be able to see the data which is sent from the device.

Now i realized that Eric isn’t contributing anymore since dez/23.
Samsung aren’t kind with 3rd party developers 
Also realized that @zambobmaz was last seen on this community in Nov/2024 and last posted in Apr/24.
His last commit on github is from Dec/24.
Will not put much hope on this
He is more active in the Korean community which I don’t know it’s web address…
Give it a try in Github, @zambobmaz will help you. He helped me and my friend many times…

Hello everyone, and thanks for the great support and engagement you all have shown towards this driver and the alternatives the community devs have provided to support those unlucky home-automators (
) that have been looking for a solution to theirs back-then-unsupported devices.
I took some time to review the list of pending fingerprints and these have been added into a v1.4.5 to both, dev and prod channels.
Finally, I want to share with you how amazed I feed right now given the peak of installation the driver has, from 1679 to 4280 =O jeez! Thank you so much everyone for making this possible!
Being that said, I’d like to move into some other integrations, but I’ll leave my thoughts in a different channel/topic.

I saw that you’ve added the fingerprint for this device in the button. 1.45 driver version, but i’m struggling a little bit.
The interface appears as a 4 button device, instead of a knob (don’t have the actions for rotate right/left) for example.
Also, how to use the dimmer mode? Trying to set the group number in config for this remote and for a bulb using mariano’s multifunction mc driver, but nothing happens.

I’m also trying and testing @zambobmaz driver. It works well in the scene mode, firing events for rotate up/down that can be used in routines, but the device don’t report the angle/clicks of rotation in this mode and has a 2s delay between events. This is why i’m looking for remote/dimmer mode with direct binding/group. @zambobmaz made a comment that the device reports angle/clicks in this mode and dimmer works very fluid with a bulb, but i’m also struggling cause i don’t know how to bind the knob and the bulb. His driver doesn’t have a config option to set the group, or something similar.
According to @zambobmaz , the device should work fine in scene mode. He mention that :
Scene Mode:
• Push: Working
• Double Push: Device does not support
• Long Push: Device does not support
• Knob: Working
• Knob Level: Working
• Knob with hold: Working
• Knob Level with hold: Working

I have the exact same button and although the current driver works, the battery is dead in two days
Yeah, same problem here. I use a different driver (the only one that worked for me) but it drains the battery in under a week. It’s a pity because this switch is quite pretty and is very comfortable to hold.

Try a battery from a different brand. Try to find something quality from local store not from AliExpress… I had a similar problem in sensor battery that I put in my freezer, changed the brand and it working for 6-9 months in deep freeze.
Thanks but that advice isn’t very relevant in this case. I don’t have battery problems with other devices. And I’m not using this remote in extreme temperatures either.
I’ve tried many different battery brands and even purchased a second device thinking maybe I got a defective one. Nope! Battery is dead in two days!
