The SmartThings Hub 4th generation will be released soon, and it’s scheduled to officially launch in Korea around mid-September.
This is a comparison table between V3 and V4 that was revealed on the sales page.
The hub specifications comparison shown in the video includes some unofficial information, so there may be slight differences from the actual specs.
(Especially for previous generation products)
The boot time and onboarding time have been significantly reduced.
I was really frustrated with how long it took to connect the V3 for the first time, so this is a relief.
The removal of Z-wave support will likely be very disappointing for North American and European users.
I’m not sure when the product will be officially released in other countries.
