Capability externalLogging

Just thinking it would be nice to abstract and encapsulate services (outside of SmartThings own event logs) which are meant to log events and/or data series. More details later… But there are already some good examples in SmartApp form (or are they also Devices?). Various examples… GroveStreams Xively Slack . .
