Setting security zones differently for House and Garage?

Hi Everyone,

I’m new to ST but diving in head first!

Got a ST hub, a garage sensor, already had a few ewlink devices so added them to ST. then I bought a Konnected alarm along with a fire 7 tablet for the keypad and actiontiles+kiosk

So here is what I’d like to do, I’d like my garage to be protected when I’m in or out of the house but because there is only one “ST Security” app.

Arm (stay) = what I call night mode, downstairs only protected
Arm (away) = full house garage protection
Disarmed = no need to explain

It’s like I need to setup a second location or I need another mode “Arm daytime” so only the garage is protected. what is the best way to do this?

Hmmm either this isn’t possible or I’m asking a stupid question, would appreciate someone at least saying “impossible” or “think about it”

I use the ST Home Monitor smartapp and in it you can configure which sensors you want to use for “home”, and which ones for “away”. In this way you can use for “Home” only the garage sensors and for “away” those of the garage plus those of the rest of the house.
I don’t know if this works for you?
