Smartthings icon suddenly appeared on my phone screen and I cannot get rid of it. Have uninstalled app and its still there. How do I turn it off?

Hi, see attached. These small 4 circles , within a circle, can be moved around but I cannot delete it. Not sure how to attach a screenshot. I cannot see a way to do it except by hyperlink but no idea how to do it. Sorry, I’m not really computer illiterate. Mike

This icon has nothing to do with SmartThings.
If you click on it, it should show the app drawer. Google how to delete the app drawer icon.
Sorry, this is not the app drawer. It holds 12 icons on 2 screens that are: recents, home, back, screen off, volume, screenshot, notification panel, pinch zoom, power off menu, screen control, menu settings and screen rotation. They are all actions to make things work.

Because google told me to delete it the first time I looked, so I did but nothing happened.
Out of curiosity… which brand/model phone do you have?

Hi Mike,
That is a frustrating and pesky shortcut, but has nothing to do with SmartThings. Adding to the confusion is the fact that it uses a pretty standard app drawer icon, but it is not a shortcut to the app drawer. It also has been confused for something Bixby related, because of the options it gives when clicked.
It also floats in front of everything, and long pressing it gives no helpful options.
It can be removed by going to: Settings - Accessibility - Interaction and dexterity - and toggle OFF Assistant menu.

Thank you very much for pointing me in the right direction. The modern systems have so many features and no guidance. It’s a learn on the job thing. Not sure how I turned it on but very grateful for your advice. Thanks again. Mike
