Any work arounds?? Alarms keep going off every door I open.

Same here. Just opened support ticket.

Doing that now

Mine finally let me turn it off. I ran Good Night and Good Morning and it disarmed. I swear I did that 10 times already, but we can leave now. So that’s nice.

I’ve had the same issue with Smart Alarm recently. I couldn’t disarm my alarm even though the ST mobile app said it was in home mode. It didn’t matter how many times I selected “I’m Back” the alarm kept going off.

Ultimately I changed the mode to night mode then back to home mode which disabled it.

This has happened a few times which pretty much led me to unplug my siren.

There seems to be issues with mode and the mobile app not being in sync. Or that the mode is not being properly “broadcast” system wide?

Ok, so I tried good night and good morning and it showed disarm but when I opened a door all my sirens still went off and then it rearmed itself somehow.

Try switching it first to Arm Stay first. That seems to do the trick. Annoying issues continue to mount…

Its stuck in arm stay now. Cant go anywhere else.

When I’ve had this happen, I’ve found that the status is changed on the cloud, but not in device. My issue is arming at night. It keeps showing as disarmed.

If I click armed(away), and then back to disarm, and then to armed(stay), everything seems to be in sync. I’ve tried armed(away) to armed(stay), but this one doesn’t seem to ‘catch’ all the time.

Try the update link for the Smart Home Monitor, see if that doesn’t get it unstuck (via the online web UI).

I was wondering if I broke something when I messed with Rule Machine and the SHM conditions and triggers. I removed all of that because I don’t “get it.”

Now, my alarm is only sounding in Arm (Away). If I switched it to Alarm (Stay), and opened a door, no alarm. Now opening a door (contact sensor) is not triggering SHM at all when armed.

It’s also taking forever for it to change its status in the app. Now that the app let’s you refresh on Android, the status will show Arm (Stay), refresh it, then it says Arm (Away).

Same issues here. I found that deleting the security part of the SHM resets the alarm so you can turn off security and stop alarms. What a cluster f! I dread every release/update because they somehow break the system every time. Then they spend the next month fixing it just to push another buggy release. Losing all faith in this platform quickly.

Delete SHM and recreate it it will work. I was able to delete shm and re configure again. Then i was able to disarm it. To make changes i have do this process again and again. It might work until they fix it

Stop getting push/sms for the routines “im back or goodbye”

For testing i have delete the routine “googbye” and start a new one, and notice if i don’t the put the Harmony activites to turn off the routine works.

If i select the Harmony activities, when i execute the routine i get a network error, but the action to turn off works.

Same here. I got the spinning wheels and nothing happening, as well as the network error. I haven’t tried it yet this morning, but it’s a real pain.

I should also add, that I have to dismiss the intrusions 3-4 times again.

So SHM is a mess right now. Waiting on support.

It didn’t automatically run my “Goodbye” routine, nor did it disarm when I arrived home. Not to mention all the other errors I had that match @anwesh screenshots.

Is like getting a lemon used car from a car dealer in a recurring nightmare, the car keep breaking down, the crooked car dealer keep telling me it will be fixed this time. Only differences is this is a brand new automate security monitoring system with Samsung SmartThings in a real life weekly event…Wait a minute, there are sort of identical.

I’ve having similar problems. App says some lights are one when they are off. Had difficulty turning some lights off last night. My outdoor lights didn’t turn on when I opened my garage door this morning. I really like Smartthings and before this app update things were working perfectly. Now it’s unusable. I get growing pains and nothing I use it for is mission critical, but this is a recurring theme.

Just for the record I’m on iOS so this is not an android problem (though I hear it’s got it’s own issues). I think this is a platform problem that I hope gets addressed soon.

Greg

So many problems and so many complains for few days now. Yet http://status.smartthings.com/ is showing everything is “Operational” and “No incidents reported”, what a bunch of baloney.
