Looking for an outdoor camera wth live iOS support and recording. Ideally integrated with Samsung SmartThings to if possible, in UK
I’ve just seen the “Ring” stick on camera, looks decent, but pricey, with the solar panel as well otherwise be on charge all the time? and £25/year for cloud recording
Anything else? Is it possible to record to my NAS maybe somehow? its a Seagate type that allows certain apps on it.

Probably your best bet would be blink
It comes with free cloud storage and NAS is easily set up.
After that I would go with arlo pro hub and just regular arlo camera, that way you get free cloud and have ability to store locally with no extra workaround

Does it integrate fine with SmartThings? How long is battery life? looks lie great idea. never heard of them though?

Yes both of them do and I know that the arlo pro solution works well as a good friend of mine is a professor at Leeds Beckett University and uses them himself.
I installed blink outside my parents in upstate NY , simply sealed it with silicone and lasted through some of nastiest weather coming of 2 great lakes without any issues.
Also for Blink cameras, you will need to use integration by @RBoy. He is the unofficial ST integrator. And Blink acknowledges him as such on their support page.
