You have installed the device handler, as well as the smart app ?

my only issue is i cannot get it to work with external switches.
i tried using the on board button 0 and 1 pins with gnd.
Any further tips on how you connected external switches will be highly appreciated.
Which smartapps do people use to trigger events based on the output of a Sonoff device?
I have a TH which is controlling a fan but none of the Smartapps Iāve tried seem to be able to pickup the temperature from the Sonoff smartapp and then send the on/off command to it.
Have you tried the ones in the Climate control group ?
I use the smart humidity which works fine for me.
I finally connected my switch to control app, I am using Lights control app to control relay via button.

I have tried that one even thought Iām trying to trigger a fan on temperature. Nothing happens at all. The status page for the sonoff shows correct data but not one smartapp appears to work. Iām not sure if itās either not receiving temp data correctly or whether itās not triggering the smart switch.
You need to log into the SmartThings ide and check if the device is reporting the correct measurements.
Try Webcore as well that should certainly work.
Yes Iāve done that. All the measurement data is correct from the sonoff.
Iām trying to avoid using additional software on top of SmartThings. Iāve already got a fair bit, Iād prefer to use the functionality thatās built in.
Hello. Anyone knows if it is possible to flash esp easy mega (latest version) and use it with SmartThings.
Help anyone please. Over the years I have flashed quite a few Sonoff basic, some TH10 and 1 Touch with very few problems. I have just received a 3 way Touch labelled T1 R2 US Touch Board V1.0. This is the newer unit designed for vertical mounting. I have tried everything I can think of without success. I actually stopped and reprogrammed a new basic that I received at the same time without a problem. I have tried Espeasy and Nodemcu. Has anyone had any success with these newer switchs. I am using Sonoff4CH.ino.generic.bin which I believe is the correct file for 3 way switchs.

I would suggest webcore. You need to instal 4 smart apps and with a bit of practice you should be able to design all your automation on any browser.
Hi, I have just received a US 3 way sonoff touch but I canāt manage to flash it. I hold down switch S1 (small metal switch with button in centre) while powering on and then release it to go to flash mode. ESPEasy gives āflush startā and āFlush completeā then 'espcomm_sync failed. Can you clarify which buttons you refer to and is the baudrate of 78880 correct or a typo( I havenāt seen it anywhere else) Thanks for any help you can provide.

I have flashed several TH10ās before without a problem. If you havenāt fixed it yet then we are both in trouble(still)
Nope. Havenāt gotten by this yet.
Well I finally flashed mine. I found it hard to believe there is so little information on flashing the 2 or 3 way touch. The best way I found to flash was to make your normal connections to the board with the touch pads and power it on, then hold down the touch pad for switch 1 (labelled P3 on my board) then push and release switch S1 (reset) then release touch pad. It should now be in flash mode and I flashed mine easily after that with ESPEasy. All I have to do now is figure out how to assign it in smartthings and get the child devices assigned. Good luck.

Sorry, I thought you were having problems with the sonoff touch. Your photo appears to be a TH10 or TH16. To flash that is the same as a basic sonoff except using SonoffTH.ino.generic.bin. I have done 2 of those without any problem. Please note, NEVER plug or unplug the probe from the sonoff while it is powered up.
Hi, I am trying to get a T1 3 gang switch to work. Once I have it flashed and connected as a Sonoff wifi switch I go into 'My Devices" and edit the device type to Sonoff 4ch wifi switch but this does not produce any child devices. Can you advise me where I am going wrong. Thanks.
Iām hoping someone can help me. I have been using sonoff switches with this device handler for about a year now and have had minimal problems at my and my girlfriends house. Recently I got a sonoff TH and set it up at my house and it worked fine. I then removed it and took it to her house because we had more use for it there controlling a window ac unit. Endless to say smart things will not add it. After it finds it and you select it and click next its just a white screen. If I click reset list it will add it after I select it again but it adds it as a standard switch and not a TH. I have tried to add it manually but its the same white screen. Tried for hours and any help is appreciated thanks.
Can you expand on how to connect? I have tried every possible scan but the switches are not getting discovered via St Marketplace/MyApps/Sonoff connect. The network does not have anything strange that I can tell.
