Great. My MYQ-G0301-D will be here Friday! Can’t wait to get it set up. Did you attempt integrating Alexa with the MyQ HUB at all? Or did you go straight to using non-MyQ door sensors etc…? Wondering if I could use the MyQ sensor for one door and a z-wave for the other and control both through Alexa 
Would hate to have that myQ sensor I paid for just sit and collect dust, haha.
You will need the MyQ sensor to use with MyQ.
To be honest I haven’t tried integrating MyQ into Alexa. My main goal was to get the MyQ hub integrated into Homekit (without having to purchase the separate Chamberlain Homebridge module) so I can use Siri on my watch to open & close the garage doors. I’m running Homebridge (HOOBS) for that integration.
The ST integration is primarily so that I can see the status of the doors in ActionTiles and make sure the garage doors are automatically closed when everyone leaves the house (exits the geofence).
What’s the easiest way to setup door Status change push notifications (open/closed)?
I don’t believe the SmartApp natively allows this.

Is anyone else having an issue with MyQ lite? I keep getting a login error from Smartthings. I can still use my garage door from the MyQ app but not from Smartthings.

It seems to be working now. There was just a small window there where I was getting the error via ST. Super weird.
I was having a login problem for a short period of time today. It resolved itself by early afternoon.
I’m experiencing the same issue as you Thor. Works from MyQ App but no longer SmartThings. I know they pulled support from Wink, so hoping they didn’t shut down any APIs endpoints that MyQ Lite has dependencies on.
Still working for me so far today.
Mine is work again now. I know its been out for days, but it just started working earlier this afternoon.
The only thing I did was re-enter my credentials in the smart app. At any rate, I am glad it is working.
Brbeaird, new here and cloned your myq repo. Got the app installed and configured. Do I have to mess with the handlers for each item found? I have the cross-out cloud icon for each.
any help would be appreciated
If you’re using the new SmartThings app, things are still not fully supported. I would suggest viewing the MyQ-related devices in SmartThings Classic for now.

I did not realize there were two Smartthings Apps. Can you tell me if I need to mess with the Device Handler settings for each? After install i have 6 icons. 3rdCar, Main, 3rd Car opener, Main Opener, 3rd Closer and Main Closer.
Do you have open/close contact (or tilt) sensors on the doors? If so, you can uncheck the “create open/close switch” option in the SmartApp setup.
If you don’t have sensors, you may want those switches in case you want to have the door represented on something like ActionTiles. But even then, they’re not mandatory.
Bottom line - no, you shouldn’t have to mess with anything. The app installs a device for each door and potentially an open/close virtual switch as well. Aside from using those devices to send commands to the doors, there’s nothing else you need to do.
Thanks for the input. Got it working but I think i need to delete the senors since I dont have that. In the MyQ app it tells me the doors are open.
I have been using the MyQ Lite app for a couple of years and just recently noticed that I am unable to control my garage door using Smartthings. In the app when I click on Open it doesn’t do anything. I’ve attached the live logging after attempting to open the garage door using the Smartthings app.
Note that I am using the Classic app and as far as I see I am up to date on the MyQ app in the IDE. I did notice that in the Smartthings app when I go to the MyQ Lite app and click on next with my username and password there it just goes to a blank page and nothing happens.
Odd. When you open the SmartApp and scroll down to the versions section, does everything show “latest”?
I was actually having trouble with mine the last couple days. I pushed a small update today to deal with a refresh status bug, so you might try updating that. For whatever reason, mine started working after that.
How do I update the app? I already have the myq lite app setup and working properly
