So I am stuck right now. I have the app installed properly and had the exe installed on the actual computer I am wanting to sync the status with ST and it was working fine. If you ping the IP from the command line does that work? Also check your firewall to see if you are allowing access to the app? I think your configuration is fine something else is blocking it… (My money is on your firewall, assuming you haven’t accidentally provided the wrong IP) :slight_smile:

Sure you don’t have the wrong IP? Typically 192.168.1.xxx yours says 192.168.0.xxx See if you can log into your router with 192.168.0.1 then see if you can log in with 192.168.1.1 Also, check out this tutorial thread I made to use Host Pinger and Event Ghost to achieve more PC control… …

Depends on the router, different companies do different things :slight_smile:

I am also unable to ping that pc from the one that I have Host Pinger on.

OK for some reason my PC that I wanted to monitor was setup as a public network and that was causing the firewall to be more strict. Changing the network to Private allowed communication between my network computers.

I’m having a different issue now. HostPinger sees that my PC is online but there is an error. [image]

Nope. Not the wrong ip address. My router is 192.168.0.1. Running ipconfig from the pc I am trying to control the ip address is 192.168.0.19. I will start looking into Norton and see if there is something there not letting it communicate.
