[OBSOLETE] Filtrete 3M-50 Wi-Fi Thermostat. Version 2.0 Released 12/17/2016

Please disregard…went into the Device logs & found the Device ID for both thermostats…updated those & I’m all good now. Thanks!

Are you sure this is coming from the thermostat device? Line 437 is a closing bracket. Make sure the code is not garbled when you copy-pasted it.

How do I know what Port my thermostats are?

It’s always 80.

I’ve been struggling with the z-wave USNAP module in my CT80 functioning properly with SmartThings and stumbled upon this while looking for answers. I’m about at my wits end with the z-wave radio but before I make the jump to a WiFi USNAP I wondered if I would be able to get a humidity reading with this setup? Thanks.

No, this was written for CT30 which does not have humidity sensor.

@geko any news on fixing the Celsius to Fahrenheit error above? I’ve been mulling through code trying to fix, except I have no coding experience lmao.

Waiting patently and very excited to get this workings:)

Thanks again for all of your hard work.

error groovy.lang.MissingMethodException: No signature of method: script1416864863832743819686.temperatureCtoF() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.Double) values: [21.600000381469727] @ line 346

I think it maybe due to the fact the http browser is reporting is still reporting fahrenheit despite the thermostat being set to Celsius…

What is the consensus on using the zwave usnap module? Pros? Cons? Should I stick with trying this app code or try the zwave addon? I saw above someone who mentioned it but not in detail.

My personal preference is WiFi. The main reason is that this way I can control my thermostat remotely even if SmartThings is not working, which unfortunately still happens more often than I’d like. The native RadioThermostat mobile app is awesome and never failed me. SmartThings does not even come close, but it gives you an option to link your thermostat with other “things” easily, so you get the best of both worlds.

Have you filed a bug?

Doing it now. My bad @geko. I did not know this was protocol. Thanks again.

Note: Radio Thermostat project moved to another Github repository.

@geko thanks for the heads up. Should this mean I need to re-report earlier bug?

I’ve been waiting patiently for bug fix

Yes, if you don’t mind. I don’t think I moved the bug reports. Sorry, I didn’t have a chance to look at it. Life gets in the way of a hobby.

Hahah no worries I completely understand:)

I’ve set this up with my CT80 and it seems to be working for the most part except ThermostatOperatingState and FanState both have blank tiles in the app and “null” in the logs. Assume these are not supported with the CT80?

Also wouldn’t mind getting the humidity function to report. It works in the z-wave device I have setup.

Thanks.

Can this easily be altered to work with the z-wave USNAP module? I have a 3m-30 and I’m wondering if the code can be adjusted for the Z wave module rather than wifi? This smartthings built in support leaves something to be desired next to this

Thank you for this, it is working great with my slightly different branded Radio Thermostat CT30. Thanks for sharing your great work!
