OK, if you have an iPhone and an eero router That gives you two different possible options for setting a narrower Geo zone.

First, you can use ibeacons. This should definitely work (I use it in my own home), but it does require buying the additional ibeacon device and it may require having an always on receiving station device (an old iPhone or old iPad plugged in at home) Depending on your exact use case. And you have to buy two additional third-party apps. So this one adds additional dollar cost, but is very reliable, highly customizable, and works quite well. I have mine set to a detection zone of about 10 m, which is about the length of the wheelchair ramp to my front door, for example. Here’s that FAQ

Alternatively, with the eero router, you should be able to set it up so that when your Wi-Fi router detects that a specific device has joined the network, typically your phone, you can then turn on a virtual switch and use that as your presence indicator. This method requires more technical expertise, but it’s definitely doable. The primary issue is that the detection zone may still be too big for your needs, it just depends on how far away you get a Wi-Fi signal from your apartment.

I know @TAustin has a thread about that, but I don’t remember exactly which one.
