Hanging out at home this evening watching tv. My wife stated that the google assistant on her phone was upgraded today. So I asked “are you ready for ok google yet?”
Lo and behold, the cheap control tablet on the wall beeped. The one that had been struggling to hear me a year ago, the one that drove me to go for Echo. Suddenly it hears me across the room, and can discern what I say even with background noise!
Very interesting. Might not need the google dot after all.
