Mitsubishi Heat Pump wifi control?

Hi there,

Has anyone managed to integrate control of a Mitsubishi Heat Pump with wifi adapter (NZ version if relevant) into smartthings?

I understand it is possible to control the heatpumps other than through the official Mitsubishi app and have seen this: https://github.com/lennyby93/node-mmcontrol - which is a way to control a heat pump through the wifi controller. Unfortunately my skills lie elsewhere and I have no idea how to adapt or use something like this for an integration into smartthings.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

2022 Update At present, it looks like one of the best solutions will be the Cielo Breez Eco. This is a thermostat which can substitute for an air conditioners existing IR remote. There is a manufacturer – provided cloud to cloud integration available in the smartthings app. Just go to “add a device“ and search by brand for Cielo. Also available in other countries. Older information, some may be out of date. You probably won’t be able to control both with one harmony hub unless it’s a smart TV and isn’t using an IR remote or unless you use an IR extender.
